Fifteen Greater Kansas City communities contributed to a marketing pool to promote tourism during the summer. Tonic created a unique campaign based on juxtapositions of attractions in the various communities, and overlaid promotions, competitions, a completely restructured website and added value media mentions and placement for a highly successful result. Tonic created travel stamps for each community and invited area residents to visit all 15 cities and fill their “passports to fun” to win free gas for a year in the “More To Do Than You Ever Knew Sweepstakes.” The summer of 2011 will see the second phase of the campaign.
